About the Podcast

Springfield Googolplex is the movie podcast for Simpsons fans.

Growing up, Adam Schoales and Nate Storring were first introduced to countless classic movies through parodies on The Simpsons. On the biweekly Springfield Googolplex podcast, they keep that tradition alive by watching and dissecting movies referenced on The Simpsons that they have never seen before.

Join in every other Tuesday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or the podcatcher of your choice as they break down the history of the movie, their favorite moments, and the Simpsons parodies that introduced them to the film.

About the Hosts

When Adam and Nate met each other in high school, they immediately quickly bonded over their love for The Simpsons and buying armfuls of cheap special edition DVDs at the mall.

Since then, they have been student film collaborators, college roommates, regular movie-going buddies, and now long-distance co-conspirators on the Springfield Googolplex podcast.

Adam Schoales is a video producer and editor. He has a remarkable recall of Simpsons quotations (which are mostly lost on his family) as well as a truly encyclopedic knowledge of useless movie trivia (which he’s glad to finally have an outlet for). He lives in Markham, Ontario.

As a writer, Nate Storring mostly focuses on design and cities these days, but he got his start overanalyzing movies. He is also the obsessive individual who catalogued all of the movie references in The Simpsons for this podcast. He lives in Lambertville, New Jersey.
